Many customers find it easiest to incorporate 5 Denfenders® into their morning wellness routine, paired with other Real Mushrooms best-sellers like Lion’s Mane or Cordyceps. ### Quality & Certifications of 5 Defenders brand Organic Mushroom Blend Capsules Real Mushrooms products are always: - **Rated the #1 Mushroom brand by ConsumerLab** - **Made from USDA Certified Organic Mushrooms** - **Verified for active compounds, safety, & purity** through third-party testing - Purity-IQ **verified for authenticity** using nuclear magnetic resonance - **Free of grains, starches, and fillers** - Sourced from mushroom (fruiting bodies) only—never mycelium fermented grain - Produced in a **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-compliant** facility This is our **Real Mushrooms Guarantee**: no shortcuts, no gimmicks—just real mushrooms. ### Balanced Immune Response† This mushroom complex is a blend of five extract powders: Reishi, Shiitake, Maitake, Turkey Tail mushrooms and Chaga**.**They are renowned for their naturally high levels of **beta-glucans**, polysaccharides that can help balance your body’s natural immune response.† Our extract is optimized to contain **more than 18% beta-glucans**, ensuring consistent, effective support in every serving. ### **Real Mushrooms, Not Filler** Most mushroom supplements fail because they’re made without mushrooms: they use mycelium fermented grain. Those products have few beneficial fungal compounds—they’re mostly starch. We use 100% hot water-extracted mushrooms (fruiting body) to unlock the true full spectrum of beneficial compounds. ### **Highest-Quality, Organic Ingredients** We partner with experienced mushroom growers using **Di Dao 地道** (spiritual homeland) cultivation practices to harvest mushrooms in their geo-authentic environments. Our 5 Defenders® contain only the real mushroom, grown, extracted, and tested with integrity. ## Real Science Real Mushrooms is built on 50+ years of mycological and mushroom growing expertise. Our founder’s roots trace back to the beginning of the functional mushroom category in North America. Today we continue to lead the industry in science-backed and effective mushroom supplements. Every batch of our mushroom supplements is lab-verified for beta-glucan content and free of unwanted fillers like starch or alpha-glucans from grain. This scientific transparency ensures that what’s on the label is exactly what’s in the bottle. #### Potency **Why Beta-Glucans Matter** Beta-glucans are the **primary active compounds** in 5-Defenders mushrooms that support immune function.* Most mushroom products don’t list beta-glucan content, but we do. **Beta-Glucans indicate an authentic mushroom product versus myceliated grain products** that contain high levels of starch (Alpha-Glucans) instead. Real Mushrooms offer **potency you can trust**, in every capsule. ### **Purity** We use only 100% mushroom (fruiting body)—no grain, no mycelium, no fillers. This product has received the **Purity-IQ™ Authenticity Certification Program** – a cutting-edge nuclear magnetic resonance technique that confirms we use the correct mushroom species and nothing else. Certified organic. Verified species identity. No shortcuts. Just clean, potent mushrooms—exactly as nature intended. ### **Transparency** We partner with experienced mushroom growers using **Di Dao 地道**(spiritual homeland) cultivation practices to harvest mushrooms in their geo-authentic environments. Our 5-Defenders mushroom extract contains only the real mushroom—grown, extracted, and tested with integrity. ### Real Mushrooms 100% organic mushrooms Guaranteed beta-glucans Hot water extracted or dual extracted No starch · no fillers Full disclosure of ingredients, sourcing, testing and extraction Cost-effective for active compound concentration in every serving 50+ years mushroom cultivation expertise #### Author Profile ![Image](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/0ad01ef2f28697bd5b14853e636b2b8774ce7da686799ff1c89ed018671cb873?s=100&d=mm&r=g) b2bgoods ##### Latest entries - [https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/nsf-certified-sport-organic-cordyceps-m-extract-capsules](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/nsf-certified-sport-organic-cordyceps-m-extract-capsules) [Cordyceps-M](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/brand/cordyceps-m) September 20, 2020[NSF Certified Sport Organic Cordyceps-M® Extract Capsules](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/nsf-certified-sport-organic-cordyceps-m-extract-capsules) - [https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/organic-reishi-mushroom-capsules](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/organic-reishi-mushroom-capsules) [Real Mushrooms](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/brand/real-mushrooms) September 20, 2020[Organic Reishi Mushroom Capsules](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/organic-reishi-mushroom-capsules) - [https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/5-defenders-organic-mushroom-complex-bulk-powder](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/5-defenders-organic-mushroom-complex-bulk-powder) [5 Defenders](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/brand/5-defenders) September 20, 2020[5 Defenders® Organic Mushroom Complex – Bulk Powder](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/5-defenders-organic-mushroom-complex-bulk-powder) - [https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/turkey-tail-mushroom-capsules](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/turkey-tail-mushroom-capsules) [Real Mushrooms](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/brand/real-mushrooms) September 20, 2020[Turkey Tail Mushroom Capsules](https://medicinalfunctionalmushroomfactory.com/product/turkey-tail-mushroom-capsules) ## 3 reviews for 5 Defenders® Organic Mushroom Blend Capsules 1. ![Image](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/dc9805a57b52f94157418b7ef2d20d82e808405695c5b720137a8b0a6cd8414d?s=60&d=mm&r=g)Rated **5** out of 5 **John Doe** – September 20, 2020 Steady customer for 5 Defenders I find it difficult to quantify the benefits of adaptogens. I take 5 Defenders for overall health and immune support. I stopped last year for a brief period as I was taking other mushroom supplements (also from Real Mushrooms) and thought I didn’t need all of it. I found that I developed a few colds over the season and decided to go back to my daily dose of 5 Defenders. I havn’t been sick since with a cold, or much of anything. So there’s my story and I do believe that this product is supporting my immune system quite well so I continue to include it for overall healthy support. 2. ![Image](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/90683c8946bdac07dde91a1c9dd71107b4672568f90278a42a11cbb3548d71aa?s=60&d=mm&r=g)Rated **4** out of 5 **Jane Doe** – September 20, 2020 Great products I use 5 Defenders and Lions Mane. I know the Lions Mane works cognitively because I’ve been doing brain training for years but once I started taking Lions Mane regularly all my scores went up, gaining new personal bests. The 5 defenders is a useful addition for the immune system. I get far fewer illnesses and if I do catch something the symptoms are much reduced. Thanks for producing such quality products. 3. ![Image](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/0ad01ef2f28697bd5b14853e636b2b8774ce7da686799ff1c89ed018671cb873?s=60&d=mm&r=g)**b2bgoods** – October 28, 2026 Quality mushrooms Love this brand of mushrooms. They do third party testing and I know I can trust this brand to be good quality. I do feel better also.
